Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before using TAXIE.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TAXIE ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

TAXIE is a platform designed to facilitate anonymous workplace feedback and improve organizational communication. These terms govern your use of our software, services, and related tools.

2. Service Description

TAXIE provides:

  • Anonymous feedback collection from employees
  • AI-powered sentiment analysis and theme detection
  • Intelligent routing of feedback to appropriate managers
  • Public accountability tracking for organizational actions
  • Dashboard and analytics tools for leadership

The Service is provided on a subscription basis to organizations, not individual users.

3. User Accounts and Access

Organizations purchase access codes that grant their employees and managers access to the platform. By using an access code:

  • You represent that you are authorized by your organization to use the Service
  • You agree not to share your access code with unauthorized individuals
  • You understand that your feedback submissions are anonymous but usage metadata may be tracked
  • You agree to use the Service in good faith for its intended purpose

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

  • Submit false, defamatory, or malicious feedback
  • Harass, threaten, or intimidate individuals
  • Violate any laws or regulations
  • Attempt to de-anonymize other users
  • Reverse engineer, hack, or compromise the Service
  • Submit spam, advertisements, or promotional content

Violations may result in immediate termination of access without refund.

5. Anonymity and Data Handling

TAXIE is designed to protect user anonymity. However, you should understand:

  • We use zero-knowledge encryption to protect feedback anonymity
  • Individual feedback is never shown to leadership—only aggregated patterns
  • We cannot reverse-engineer who submitted specific feedback
  • Your organization administrators cannot identify individual submissions
  • We may preserve anonymized feedback for pattern analysis and service improvement

See our Privacy Policy for detailed information on data handling.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service are owned by TAXIE and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of the feedback you submit. By submitting feedback, you grant TAXIE a license to process, anonymize, aggregate, and present your feedback as part of the Service.

7. Service Availability and Changes

We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may:

  • Perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice
  • Make emergency repairs without notice
  • Modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice
  • Update these Terms of Service (notification will be provided)

8. Payment and Refunds

Organizations subscribe to TAXIE on various pricing tiers. Payment terms include:

  • Pilot programs: 90-day trial period with flat fee
  • Growth plans: Annual or monthly subscription per user
  • Enterprise plans: Custom pricing with dedicated support

Refunds are available for the Pilot program if cancellation occurs within the first 30 days. Annual subscriptions may be prorated upon cancellation according to our refund policy.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • TAXIE is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the Service in the past 12 months
  • We are not responsible for how organizations respond to feedback

10. Termination

Either party may terminate the Service agreement:

  • Organizations may cancel their subscription with 30 days notice
  • We may terminate access for violation of these Terms
  • Upon termination, access codes will be deactivated
  • Aggregated anonymized data may be retained for pattern analysis
